Fleet work is a volume game: the faster a unit moves through the bay without rework, the better the job pays. ECOFORCE HD is a patented, solvent-free and butyl-free degreaser that instantly lifts petroleum-based grease and heavy soil, so one concentrate covers road film on painted bodies at a light ratio and packed grease on undercarriages at a heavy one. What you need on the truck
- Pressure washer with a low-pressure application tip
- Downstream injector or foam applicator
- Long-handle brush and a wheel brush
- Wash pad with a compliant runoff and reclaim path
- Gloves, eye protection and non-slip footwear
Dilution: Published dilution for every EcoBlend concentrate: light cleaning 20:1, general cleaning 10:1, heavy cleaning 5:1. Painted bodies and trailers usually run 20:1 to 10:1; undercarriages, fifth wheels and equipment tracks are 5:1 work.
Step by step
- 1
Stage the unit and check the surfaces
Park on the wash pad, note decals, aged paint, polished aluminium and any exposed electronics, and confirm where runoff goes. Aged clear coat and vinyl wraps set your ceiling on both dilution and pressure.

Pre-rinse from the top down
Knock off dust, mud and salt before applying product. Pre-rinsing also wets the panel so the mix stays on the film instead of flashing dry on hot sheet metal.

Split the unit into soil zones
Body and glass, wheels and lower panels, undercarriage and greased components. Mix each zone at its own ratio rather than washing the whole truck at the strength the dirtiest part needs.

Apply low pressure, bottom to top
Working upward stops clean streaks from running through untreated film. Keep the applicator moving and cover the full panel — a missed band shows up clearly once the unit dries.

Dwell, then agitate the heavy areas
Let the chemistry break the grease bond while keeping the surface damp; re-mist in sun or wind rather than adding more product. Brush wheels, rockers, mud flaps and greased components while they are still wet.

Rinse top down until the runoff is clear
Rinse the whole unit in one pass so nothing dries mid-wash, and include door jambs, steps and wheel wells where mix collects. Finish with the undercarriage so its runoff does not spatter clean panels.

Dry, inspect and log the unit
Walk the unit as it dries and spot-treat any remaining shadows at the next ratio up. Recording the ratios that worked per unit type makes the next wash faster and your product use predictable.
Mistakes that cost you the job
- Washing top down with product, so clean panels get dirty runoff
- Letting product dry on hot sheet metal in direct sun
- Running undercarriage strength across painted bodies and decals
- Blasting greased components with pressure instead of brushing them
- Ignoring the runoff path and reclaim requirements on the wash pad
Questions we get asked
- Is it safe on painted bodies and decals?
- It is solvent-free and butyl-free and rated for Airbus, Boeing and Douglas aircraft cleaning, which is a demanding painted-surface standard. Test aged paint, wraps and decals in an inconspicuous spot first and start at the weakest ratio.
- Can one product cover the whole fleet wash?
- That is the point of a concentrate — one drum mixed at different ratios covers body wash through undercarriage degreasing, which cuts the number of products on the shelf.
- What size should a yard stock?
- Most shops run 5 gallon pails per bay; 55 gallon drums and 275 gallon totes are quoted per order for higher volume. Ask us for a bulk quote with freight.
