What you need on the truck

• Pressure washer with a surface cleaner attachment
• Downstream injector or a pump-up / battery sprayer for application

Dilution: Published dilution for every EcoBlend concentrate: light cleaning 20:1, general cleaning 10:1, heavy cleaning 5:1. Start at the weakest ratio that works on a test patch and step up only where the stain demands it.

Step by step

1. 1

   Test a small area first

   Pick an out-of-the-way square of the same concrete. Apply at 20:1, let it dwell, and rinse. This tells you the dilution the slab needs before you commit to the whole surface, and it shows the customer the difference side by side.

   Clear and pre-wet the surface

   Sweep or blow off loose debris, then pre-wet the concrete and any surrounding landscaping and metal. A wet surface keeps the product working on the stain instead of soaking straight into dry pores, and pre-wet plants dilute anything that drifts.

   Apply the diluted product evenly

   Work in manageable sections you can rinse before the product dries. Apply from the bottom of a slope upward so runoff does not streak the areas you have not treated yet, and keep coverage even — dry gaps show up as stripes after rinsing.

   Let it dwell — don't let it dry

   Give the chemistry time to break the bond between the stain and the concrete. Keep the section damp the whole time; on hot or windy days re-mist rather than adding more product. If a section starts to dry, rinse it and shorten your section size.

   Agitate the stubborn spots

   Rust runs, tire marks, gum and grease shadows respond to a deck brush while the product is still wet. Agitation almost always beats reaching for higher pressure, which can leave wand marks and open the surface up to faster re-soiling.

   Surface clean and rinse

   Run the surface cleaner at overlapping passes for an even finish, then rinse thoroughly — including edges, expansion joints and any adjacent glass or siding that caught overspray. Rinse until the runoff is clear.

   Inspect while it dries

   Concrete lies to you when it is wet. Walk the slab as it dries and re-treat any remaining shadows at the next dilution step up. A second spot treatment is faster and cheaper than a full re-wash.

Mistakes that cost you the job

• Letting product dry on the slab, which leaves streaks that need a full re-wash
• Chasing stains with pressure instead of dwell time — it etches and stripes the concrete
• Skipping the test patch and mixing heavy 5:1 across an entire driveway
• Forgetting to pre-wet plants, mulch beds and metal near the runoff path
• Rinsing too late, so soil settles back into the pores you just opened

Questions we get asked

Will PUREPOWER X etch or dull the concrete?

It is acid-free, non-caustic and non-etching on glass and building surfaces, so it is not doing the etching. Uneven dwell time and aggressive pressure are what usually damage a slab.

Can I use it near windows, stucco and brick?

Yes — it is formulated to be safe on brick, stone and windows, which is why it suits building exteriors and storefront flatwork. Still rinse overspray off glass so nothing dries on it.

How much product will a driveway take?

It depends on dilution, surface porosity and how heavy the staining is. Because it is a concentrate, mix per section rather than pre-mixing a full tank you may not need. Ask us for coverage help on a specific bid.

Is it regulated for transport?

PUREPOWER X is non-solvent and non-D.O.T. regulated, which keeps trailer stock and resupply simple for mobile crews.
